| Maureen Maloney studied biology at the University of South Florida
in Tampa, FL. As an undergraduate she studied shark feeding and taught
science programs at the Museum of Science & Industry. After graduating
from USF she traveled to Portland, Oregon where she worked as a veterinary
technician. She ventured to San Diego, California to be a tour guide
at the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park. Now, in addition to guiding
Jeep tours, she is a graduate student at Northern Arizona University.
There she conducts research, as well as teaching classes such as vertibrate
zoology. A true Arizona resident, she rock climbs, mountain bikes,
and snowboards. |
